Tips: These are really quick and easy to do. I few tips from my first attempt at this (they turned out perfectly by the way)!

1.) Look for crocheted doilies, they will be less flimsy and retain their shape way better than lace doilies.

2.)If you are going to look in craft stores, skip Joann’s and Hobby Lobby. Instead head straight for Micheals or A.C.Moore. If you want something more unique check out flea markets before you resort to antique and vintage shops. Flea Markets are always cheap whereas antique shops are always overpriced.

3.) Don’t use just any saran wrap. Splurge on Glad Press and Seal. It smooths out and stays smooth much better than other brands.

4.) Remember that white stiffener dries clear so slather on as much as possible, it will take a ton!
